Agapé Juices came about because we, in the course of our long-time friendship, went through similar experiences of losing our parents and other relatives to the “Big C” and Alzheimer’s. Through these experiences and continuing research and education we learned about the control that “Big Pharma” has on our lives, and the lies we’re being sold about the poisonous chemicals used to treat these ailments and others, some as simple as an infected tooth or the common cold. It became a strong desire to educate others and to promote natural, healthy eating and lifestyle choices, because when you give your body the proper fuel it needs, it is designed to heal itself. We understand that some doctors truly believe they are doing what’s best, because they too have been mislead during their years of training in med school and beyond.

In the spring of 2016, after watching the series, “The Truth About Cancer”, by Ty Bollinger, God began to speak to Stephanie about having a wellness center where people could come to learn about and partake in various healthful treatments and educational classes, beginning with juices and smoothies. We were then introduced to Dr Alicia Barton, Chiropractor at the Full Armor Center, who told us that when she and her husband (who runs the CrossFit area) were building their center, God told her to include a space for a juice bar, and that He was preparing someone else to run it.

Today, Stephanie Rhodes and Glenna Grant are active in making healthy juices and smoothies, using organic fruits and vegetables, because pesticides and genetically modified foods (GMOs) are destroying our immune systems and overall health. We are working towards adding more layers of education and healthy lifestyle choices that will allow bodies to heal naturally and function properly. Glenna is working on becoming a Certified Aromatherapist, and looks forward to adding essentials oils to our repertoire of healthy living choices.

Stephanie Rhodes

is passionate about three things: family, helping people, and Pickleball - Google it, it’s a great game! Playing sports has always been a part of her life; from backyard football when she was a young girl, to softball and volleyball in college. After college, with a Master’s degree in hand, she moved to Birmingham and worked in the fitness industry for seven years and then Massage Therapy for fourteen years. If there is anything in common between the two fields, it is helping the individual person and their whole well-being, and that is what stemmed the idea of healthy living, starting from the inside out with nutrition. It is in this way that Agapé Juice Bar was first envisioned. Stephanie truly believes proper nutrition is one of many components that is key to helping the body heal itself.

Glenna B Grant’s

love of plants began at a young age and was enhanced by a book her mother gave her titled, "The Magic and Medicine of Plants". It helped to foster a growing fascination not only for the beauty, but also the utility of plant life, and how many ways their varying properties are helpful to us. This love was fanned even further after a friend introduced her to essential oils, which has led to her pursuit of becoming a Certified Aromatherapist. Drinking juices and using essential oils for health and healing has become a way of life. Plants for food...Plants as medicine...The most natural way for the body to function properly and heal itself- the use of derivatives of nature itself! Glenna is happily married to Harrell, and together they have raised 5 beautiful & amazing children, and are now well ensconced in the grandchildren years! Glenna is excited to share the experience of Agapé Juices with you!
